We run two dining spaces. The rooftop looks across the city towards Jaisalmer Fort, and there is an indoor room downstairs with sandstone arches for when the afternoon gets too warm. Both serve the same menu. Rajasthani, North Indian, Chinese and Italian, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, with thali from ₹200. You do not have to be staying with us to eat here.

Yes, on WhatsApp. From late October to early March it is worth booking a day ahead, especially for a table at the edge of the roof. Outside those months you can usually walk in.
Yes. Most of the menu is vegetarian, including all three thali, and we are one of the few veg and non veg restaurants in Jaisalmer that cooks the two in separate vessels. Jain meals are prepared without onion and garlic on request, but tell us when you order rather than after, so the kitchen can start it separately. For anything else, message us before you arrive.
No. Come as you are. The roof gets cold from December to February, so carry something warm if you are eating late.
Yes. We arrange a candle light dinner in Jaisalmer for anniversaries, birthdays and proposals, on the rooftop with the fort in view. Tell us a day ahead and we will hold a table at the edge, away from the rest, and set it up before you come up. For private dining and larger groups, message us on WhatsApp with the date and numbers.
Breakfast is 7:00 to 9:30 AM, lunch is 12:00 to 3:00 PM, and dinner is 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Unlike most restaurants in Jaisalmer for lunch, we stay open through the afternoon as well, so the rooftop is available between three and seven for tea, coffee and snacks.
No. The rooftop and the indoor dining room are both open to everyone. A fair number of our regulars are people staying elsewhere in town who came up once for dinner. Free parking on the property.
Yes, the fort is 1.8 km away and visible from the tables at the edge. The half hour before sunset is when it looks best. In December and January the sun goes down around 5:45, by October and March closer to 6:15, and in summer the light holds until about 7:25.
Yes. Laal maas is the Rajasthani red mutton curry and the dish most people come to Rajasthan wanting to try, at ₹609. Beyond that: mutton curry, butter chicken, chicken and mutton biryani, egg curry, and a full non-veg starters section. Veg and non-veg are cooked in separate vessels.
Thali starts at ₹200 and the Rajasthani thali is ₹300. Main course dishes run ₹200 to ₹650. Masala tea is ₹30 and coffee ₹60.
